Recommended Dress We recommend wearing comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and sensible, flat-soled walking shoes. Sunglasses, hat, insect repellent, binoculars (optional) and sunscreen are suggested. A change of clothing, swimsuit, cash for purchases at the beach resort, and towel are also recommended.
Restrictions Guests must be able to step in and out of the vehicle and walk on uneven terrain. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or those who use partly-motorized vehicles or walkers. The minimum age to consume alcohol is 21 years old.

The excitement begins when you are picked up at the pier for a short, air-conditioned drive to a meeting area where a boat will be waiting for you to begin your inclusive tour.

From there you will head to the pink salt mines to hear its fascinating history, learn why the mines are pink and meet a Mayan chef who will prepare pork tacos for everyone, these are the best tacos in town! Then its on to see flamingos where you will discover how these marvelous birds get their pink color from the red plankton and shrimp in the waters. Be sure to bring your camera!

Continue on to Xcambo, one of the oldest Mayan ruins and an important trading city. Learn about the life of the inhabitants, then take some time to explore and climb the pyramids for a birds eye view of the site before your return trip to port. Along the way back you will stop at a beach and be treated to a delicious buffet lunch of traditional Mexican fare including cheese quesadillas, rice, black beans, chicken fajitas, chicken tacos, pico de gallo and an open bar.
