Venice Sunset Cruise
Venice Sunset Cruise
While on a mini-cruise of a lifetime, take advantage of the moment and have a Venetian aperitif, a dry alcoholic beverage commonly sipped before a meal to stimulate the appetite. Also offered are Venetian spirits for you to taste while on board the boat as it passes directly in front of St. Mark's Square, the most beautiful square in the world.
Your journey begins at St. Mark's Square and heads towards Santa Maria della Salute, a 17th-century Roman Catholic church, and Punta della Dogana, an art museum situated inside of one of Venice's oldest buildings. You will travel between San Giorgio Island, whose landscape was made famous by Monet, and the vacation island of Giudecca before reaching Lido Island, an 11-kilometer long sandbar.
From Lido Island, you will view Sant' Andrea Island housing a sizeable 17th-century fortress, the rural Island of Le Vignole, the glass-making island of Murano, and Isola di San Michele amongst others. Your sunset cruise will end back in Venice just in time for a magical evening in this enchanting city.
