Two Tank Certified Champagne Dive

There's scuba diving, and then there's the scuba diving you'll ONLY find on this Dominica Champagne Reef Two-Tank Scuba Tour!

This exciting tour takes you from your ship on a short, 15 minute drive south of Roseau, through the picturesque village of Pointe Michel, to the diving facility at Champagne Reef.

Champagne is Dominica's premier diving and snorkeling site, and rated among the top five snorkeling sites in the Caribbean. Underwater geothermal springs vent gasses in the form of thousands of warm bubbles, giving you a feeling of swimming through a giant glass of champagne. And that's not all - the reef here is quite spectacular! You can expect to see a myriad of sea life including sponges, lobster, parrot fish and a resident population of hawksbill sea turtles and green turtles. You may also view seahorses and the remains of a 17th-century Spanish shipwreck.

Upon arrival at the dive shop, you will be outfitted with high-quality diving gear and given an orientation of the facility and the adventure that awaits you on the reef.

You will swim out to the reef right from the shore. Your dives are led by a professional PADI-certified "dive master" who will instruct you on the correct use of your gear and brief you on what you are likely to see and experience once in the water.

After proper surface time, your dive master will take you on a second dive to a different part of the reef. Actual locations will depend on water and weather conditions that day.

After your tour you can enjoy the comfort and convenience of the dive center, with showers, changing rooms, refreshments, a gift shop, and a sundeck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. You will then return to the cruise pier.

Guests must be able to walk down an incline and over a rocky shore to access the water.
