Tango Lessons

Whether you've never danced in your life or you're a tango pro, you'll find something to enjoy in these fun Buenos Aires group tango lessons that teach Argentina's famous dance. These Argentina group tango lessons are separated by levels - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Don't worry if you have two left feet. You won't be paired with someone who's been dancing the tango for years, and vice versa.

Argentine tango developed in the mid-19th century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. It is danced in an embrace, which can range from very open to very close depending on the participants. Much of Argentine tango dancing relies on improvisation; there's no single basic step to the dance. Nevertheless, there are certain patterns of movement that are typically followed.

Each of these Buenos Aires tango lessons are taught by two teachers and two assistants. You'll be paired up during class, so you don't need to show up with someone. The lesson is broken up into three parts, the warm-up, class development, and demonstration. During the warm-up, you'll be introduced to technical exercises. Class development involves breaking up into pairs to practice the exercises while the teachers go around correcting. Finally, the lesson concludes with a demonstration by the teachers that showcases the day's techniques. Schedule one of these Argentina tango lessons and prepare to dance the night away. You'll be amazed how much fun you can have on a dance floor.
