Swimming Pigs & Exclusive Island
Swimming with Pigs on Balmoral Island
After debarking your ship, make your way into downtown Nassau to a designated location and meet the friendly staff from the private island of Balmoral who will greet you and assist with the ferry ride to the island.
Enjoy a scenic ride through the picturesque harbor of Nassau as your ferry takes you on a short ride to your private island. Once you arrive you will soon discover this peaceful place where your day of adventure awaits. The turquoise waters will take your breath away as you walk along the powdery, white sand beach where you will soon discover the friendly pigs that call this place home.
Take some time with these animals in the water, feed them, give them a scratch on the head and give them a treat. Your time with the pigs will make for some amazing pictures you can take home to remember this very special day. You will have a 30 minute encounter with the pigs.
The professional staff on the island will direct you toward the beach with rows of inviting lounge chairs, dotted with umbrellas for shade. There is something to do for everyone, take a relaxing swim, play beach games, or simply relax in a lounger. Browse the boutique on site for some souvenir shopping and of course enjoy a delicious cocktail or tempt your taste buds at The Market for a snack where you will also find a kid's menu (food and drink available for purchase).
You can also rent paddle boards or snorkel gear to discover the underwater world that lies just beneath the surface of the crystal-clear waters. Explore the two swimming pools and even rent a private cabana if you like (rented on a first come first serve basis).
The island has many themed bars, plus a Starbucks for all the coffee enthusiasts. Kids also have their own private area for fun where they can build a sandcastle or play beach games.
Make this a day to remember when in Nassau and spend some quality time swimming with the Balmoral Island pigs!
