Sorrento Coast and Capri by Boat

Sorrento Coast and Capri by Boat
Once a thriving empire, Pompeii was devastated by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD when 30 feet of volcanic ash and pumice stone blanketed the city.
Your expedition starts as you leave the port of Piano di Sorrento by boat for a breathtaking ride out to Capri.
Along the way you will see many points of interest including Marina Grande, an ancient fishing village perched atop the cliffs; a natural waterfall; and the ruins of a Roman villa.
Once you arrive in Capri you will have approximately 4 hours, a detailed map and a multilingual audio guide to explore the island. Hike the trails for 360-degree spectacular views or pop into one of the high-end shops for a little retail therapy. While in Capri enjoy an adventure to the famous Blue Grotto (some days sea conditions may prevent this portion), a cave at the water's edge that opens to the sea. You will also spend time at the Marvelous, White and Green Grottos.
Other sights to see include the Natural Arch; the Faraglioni Rock Stacks, Villa Curzio Malaparte; and the 19th century Punta Carena lighthouse.
Conclude your experience with a relaxing happy hour and a glass of limoncello as you sail back to port.
This 8-hour tour is a must-do for water lovers and those who crave the outdoors, reserve your spot today!
Please Note: It is recommended that only strong swimmers enter the grottos due to the powerful forces of the tidal waves around the rocks. Upon arrival to Capri, all guests are required to pay a disembarkation tax to the island of 2.50 EURO per person.
