The scavenger hunt starts at the Historic Seaport and then cuts down Duval Street, Mallory Square and other famous sites. The entire scavenger hunt covers about 2 miles. Because you're using your smart phone as a guide, you can play at your pace. If you need to take a break for lunch or want to soak up some sun, go right ahead and then resume your adventure! A fun way to explore Key West
We were able to explore areas that we wouldn't have gone on our own.

Note: there is a lot of walking involved and the starting point is far from the cruise dock. Also this excursion doesn't take you to the southern most point.

We had a ball
Have to say we had a ball. My sister and I got 18000 steps in doing this scavenger hunt and learned so much about Key West. We had both been to Key west before but had never learned so much about the city. Thanks for a great day.

Awesome way to see the history of the island
As a family of five, with the youngest being 8, we found this was an awesome way to see the island as well as have a little something for everyone. Since we followed the hunt on our phone, we never had to check in at the starting location, but rather went right to the first clue. Because of last years' hurricane (we presume) the first clue was quite difficult as we couldn't find a piece of the clue.

Discover a City on Your Own Guided Tour
My husband and I didn't want to have a guided tour of a US destination. The scavenger hunt led us around the city and taught us about local facts and history. It was fun competing with other people from our cruise. A much better way to see a safe American destination if you don't want to go the tourist route.

What a great excursion!
Done on your own time and at your own pace. Stop anywhere and resume. Of course, we had to stop at Margaritaville!! Wonderful way to explore Key West.
