Santorini Island Tour

Be greeted by the iconic whitewashed, cube-shaped houses of Santorini and its principal towns, Fira and Oia, that seem to cling to the cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater).

Meet your local guide at the port of Thira after you tender ashore from your cruise ship. You will then board a private tender boat for a scenic 10-minute ride to the port of Athinaio where you will find your comfortable coach waiting for you.

Enjoy a panoramic, breath-taking tour of this beautiful island with points of interest stops along the way for scenic photos. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, you will find the islands are made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Visit the famous villages of Oia and Thira and stop at a winery to learn all about the history of Greek wines. If you wish to sample wines you may do so (at your own expense) plus you will marvel at the incredible views of the caldera and the villages on the cliffs from this vantage point.

Make a stop at one of the beautiful beaches for a quick swim in the magnificent waters of the Aegean before it is time to make your way back to the port.

Return to Thira and make your way down to the sea and your tender where you will return to your ship. If you do not wish to walk down the path to the water, a cable car is available for the descent (at your own expense).
