Quebec Countryside Tour
This is your chance to travel back in time to rural Quebec and enjoy the magnificent views. Enjoy the sights as you pass through many traditional villages of rural Quebec, traveling along the approximately 25-mile stretch from Chemin du Roy to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre.
Begin your day with a visit to the world-famous Shrine in Sainte-Anne de Beaupre. The shrine is filled with numerous paintings, mosaics, stained-glass windows, stone and wooden sculptures. You will also make a short stop at the Albert Gilles Copper Museum, before making your way to the Montmorency Falls. This waterfall is definitely worth the visit, as it is 1.5 times higher than Niagara Falls, with a total height of 83 meters (approximately 275 feet).
End your day with a short visit to the Island of Orleans, where the picturesque village of Sainte-Petronille is located. Originally discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1535, the village of Sainte-Petronille waits to be discovered once again.
Finally, visit the delicious chocolate shop on the island before returning to the cruise ship pier.
