Your private and exclusive experience begins as you make a drive away from the pier area and soon begin to climb up a west Maui slope to enjoy stunning, panoramic views of the central valley from the King Kamehameha look out. Hear the story of how these grounds hold a historical structured connected to the famous Frank Lloyd Wright and Marilyn Monroe.

Next on the agenda is the Maui Tropical Plantation where you will discover easy walking paths leading through lush tropical plants. Enjoy the artfully displayed antique equipment from the old sugar milling days on display. The local gift shop has island made vodka, coconut candy and many other fun items to pick up as great souvenirs. (Please note, the tram ride at this location is not included on this tour).

Continue your journey through the historical plantation town of Wailuku, visiting an ancient volcano that possess a spectacular rainforest valley known as Iao Valley, and is home to the famous Iao needle. Due to many years of erosion and rainfall, Iao valley has become a stunning lush green valley with a river running through its valley floor all while hosting many different species of flora and fauna. While enjoying the botanical garden you will learn about the history of this grand valley and the Hawaiians that first settled here along with one of the bitterest battles ever fought on Hawaiian soil.

A pleasant drive leads back to the North shore where your final stop will be the sea cliff look out over the scenic and beautiful Ho'okipa Beach. Enjoy the sweeping views of the ocean as you watch the waves crash to shore and the surfers honing their skills. Frequently Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles can be seen sunbathing directly on the beach and you may get the wonderful opportunity to capture some fantastic pictures. A short walk will lead you down to the water's edge to get up close and personal with the local wildlife.
