The Piazza dei Miracoli, formally known as Piazza del Duomo, is a walled 8.87-hectare area recognized as a World Heritage by the UNESCO. This Piazza set over an ample green field, hosts four whiter-than-white masterpieces of grandiose medieval art: the renowned Leaning Tower, the Camposanto, the Baptistry, and the Cathedral itself. The Cathedral is considered a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance architecture.
