Recommended Dress Comfortable lightweight seasonal clothing and sturdy non-slip walking shoes are recommended. A light sweater may be needed for the winter months in the evenings. Guests should bring a hat and sunscreen. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles.

After a visit to the interpretation center, you will depart once more, this time, traveling 59 miles to Caleta Valdes, a 21-mile stretch of protected land. Once there, you will have a chance to encounter more area wildlife, including elephant seals, penguins, and occasionally orcas. Finally, enjoy more incredible views of the scenery on your ride back to the ship in time to depart.
