Private Bike Adventure
Welcome to Alaska's largest city, located in the south-central part of the state on the Cook Inlet. The city is a scenic gateway to nearby wilderness areas and mountains including the Chugach, Kenai, and Talkeetna.
Take advantage of your time in this majestic setting and set off for an easy bike ride through Kincaid Park, Anchorage's largest park with the most concentrated population of moose in the city. Your leisurely cycle is on a paved bike path that is mostly flat with a few gentle hills. Visit Earthquake Park, a memorial for the 2nd largest earthquake in history that caused mass destruction in Anchorage, and Alaska, in 1964.
Your guide is a local, knowledgeable and friendly host who will lead you along the scenic coast, with views of 5 different mountain ranges including the Alaska Range and Denali. This is a casual, easy ride and for people of all abilities and ages. This trip has a vehicle that meets the group halfway through the ride if there is someone in the group who is only up for 5 miles of biking, if you wish, you can join the driver/guide for a driving tour the remainder of the way.
