Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour

This Honolulu and Pearl Harbor tour is perfect for guests disembarking from their cruise, as you can take your luggage with you. Departing from the cruise ship, you will tour Honolulu's most famous sites and learn the history of this wonderful city during your driving orientation. Highlights you will see or pass on this excursion include the Iolani Palace, the pride of the Hawaiian Monarchy and the site of its overthrow in 1893. You will also marvel at the gold-sheathed statue of King Kamehameha, one of Hawaii's most well-known heroes, famous for uniting the island nation.

You will also have a drive-through visit to The Punchbowl National Cemetery, located in the Puowaina Crater, an extinct volcano locally referred to as the "Punchbowl." Officially dedicated on September 2, 1949 on the fourth anniversary of V-J Day, The Punchbowl Cemetery has been described as the most beautiful and moving of all national cemeteries.

Your tour will take you to the legendary USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting place for many of the battleship's 1,177 crew members who lost their lives in the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. More than one million people visit the Memorial, dedicated in 1962, annually. Spend some time at the Visitor's Center exploring the informative Museum exhibits and visiting the gift shop where you can find Pearl Harbor books, souvenirs, and novelties. The USS Bowfin submarine located at Battleship Row, can be seen accross the Visitor's Center. The USS Missouri, located on Pearl Harbor's Ford Island, is also easy to view from the Visitor's Center.

Please Note: Please be aware a pre-reserved Navy boat shuttle ticket is required to get to the USS Arizona Memorial. These tickets are offered for reservations 3 days and there are busy times where tickets are very limited, so shuttle boat tickets are never guaranteed. There is also a standby line option, day of, however, guests must return by the tour bus departure time. We are not able to offer any refunds if guests do not gain entry to the Arizona Memorial, or other sights due to a large number of visitors on a given day. We thank you for your understanding.
