Paddle and Dine by Campfire
Located on the island of St. Thomas, Charlotte Amalie is the capital and the largest city of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The City is known for its Danish colonial architecture, building structures and history. In general, St. Thomas might be the most beautiful part of the U.S. that has not been overrun by visitors, and has a million miles of things to do.
St. Thomas has some spectacular scenery worth exploring. The calm, soothing rhythm of a kayak is the best way to do it. Hop inside your kayak and wind your way through the tunneled waterways of the lagoon, as the sun dips down toward the horizon during the golden hours of sunset, the best time of day for taking picturesque photos. Your guide will point out wildlife, including birds flocking to their nests.
As the sun continues to set, look up and see the star-filled skies. Peer into the waters below your kayak, as you observe the vast marine life supported by the mangrove's ecosystem.
As the night falls, paddle to a campfire site where you will enjoy a picnic dinner under the stars.
