Our "Origins" itinerary offers a captivating journey through over two millennia of Naples' history, beginning with the legendary tale of Parthenope, the mermaid who is said to have washed ashore where Castel dell'Ovo now stands. This iconic castle, home to the fabled egg that reputedly holds the fate of the city, provides a stunning backdrop to our exploration.
From there, we ascend to the New Castle, also known as Maschio Angioino, commanding breathtaking views of the Gulf. Our tour continues with a visit to the historic San Carlo Theatre, Europe's oldest opera house, before concluding at Piazza del Plebiscito, where the Royal Palace and statues of Naples' illustrious monarchs await, each with their own compelling tale to tell. Join us as we unravel the captivating story of Naples' past and present, one landmark at a time.
Please Note: Admission to the Maschio Angioino(approximately 8 EUR per adult and 6 EUR per child) is not included and can be paid directly on the day of the tour.
