North Shore E-bike and Kayak Adventure
Enjoy this one and only tour along the north coast of Cozumel in a small group of no more than 20 guests at a time, offering a very intimate and personalized experience when visiting the island. Meet up with your trained, local guide, and first receive your safety briefing and instruction. Your guide has been trained to conduct groups throughout the city, with specific training on bike assistance. Be given your courtesy bottle of water along with the necessary gear and you are ready to explore!
Set off from the downtown meeting location and make your way to the mostly unexplored north side of Cozumel as you travel the waterfront. With an exclusive bicycle path along the sea that will make your trip an unforgettable experience, contemplate the mangrove vegetation of the northern zone, as you make your way to the first stop to see WWII aircraft. Then take a quick stroll of the area for pictures. This exhibit is of the only Mexican Air Force planes that participated in World War II and supported the US during the war.
Continue to the northern tip of the island as you pass alongside the Caribbean offering astonishing views of the water to one side, and tropical vegetation on the other. Soon you will arrive at the secluded beach where your kayak and paddleboarding experience awaits. Take to the pristine waters of the north and discover a completely different angle of the island as you view it from the azure-crystalline water.
By now you will have certainly worked up your appetite, so you will be treated with a delicious lunch while enjoying the magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. On the menu is tasty chicken fajitas, juicy hamburgers, or local, fresh fish. Afterward, relax at this secluded white sand beach where you can walk or swim and discover this unexplored corner of the island.
As you begin to make your way back to town, the bike path back will offer a hidden viewpoint where you will be able to see the different shades of the Caribbean Sea and be able to observe the Riviera Maya, where on a clear day you can see Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Cancun.
Please Note: Helmets and vests are provided as well as a safety briefing given before the start of the tour with an explanation on how to correctly use the electric bike, as well as safety measures on the road and bike track. Facilities are available at the beach stop. The total ground covered by bike is approximately 7 miles (round trip) on a paved surface and approximately half a mile on foot at stops.
