Recommended Dress We recommend wearing comfortable, seasonal clothing over a swimsuit with walking shoes. For the horseback riding portion long pants and closed toe shoes are mandatory. Hat, sunglasses and biodegradable sunscreen are also recommended.
Restrictions Guests must be able to get in and out of transportation. Minimum age required is 9 years old. Maximum weight allowed is 250 lbs. All participants must be able to ride horseback for up to 50 minutes at a time to participate. Pregnant women or guests with back/neck injuries are not allowed to participate. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age and all participants must sign a waiver. This tour is not wheelchair accessible and not recommended for any guest with limited mobility. This tour can be multilingual, if requested, and can operate in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

The excitement of your interactive journey begins as you board an open-air bus for a picturesque ride out to Hacienda Santa Emilia, a private horseback riding ranch on the eastern side of Cozumel.

This small excursion is perfect for beginner and experienced riders alike as your guides will give you detailed riding instructions then expertly match you with a horse that meets your personal level of riding experience.

You and your guides will leave the ranch behind as you make your way through the scenic jungle trails filled with Mayan ruins and deep caverns.
