This trip was a very entertaining visit to the past. It was entertaining, educational and the meal was amazing. I told my wife, while we were enjoying a wide variety of food on our cruise ship, this was an experience that offered some "home cooking" opportunity. We were using Princess for our cruise ship, and of course they offered a similar excursion, but theirs took people to Canada, so a lengthy bus ride (this was close by and easy to get to).

Enjoyable atmosphere, good food and entertainment.
Good salmon, entertainment and ambiance. The young actors were very good. We even found a flake of gold while panning.

Liarsville Tour
Thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide, Red, was very entertaining, not only taking us to Liarsville, but, sharing a couple of his favorite places to visit. We were able to spend as much time in Liarsville as we wanted. experiencing the real lives of those trying to get rich on finding gold. Although our tour and our guide were great, didn’t find the food to what we expected. We would still recommend this tour for future visitors.

Liarsville Gold Rush and Salmon Bake
We enjoyed our time learning the history from some very engaging staff and actors. The food was great. "Mining" for gold was simple, but fun to learn about, historically. Definitely recommend.

Great for Kids!
This was an interesting tour. The bus takes you to the Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp, which is a really cute camp. I would definitely recommend to bundle up as this tour is completely outdoors. You are given some time to enjoy the salmon bake (delicious salmon and mac & cheese - my favorites!), then you watch a show (my least favorite part of the tour), and then off to gold pining! again, amazing for the kids. i think my 6 year old nephew really enjoyed it :)

Fresh Salmon
The excursion was good. However, when we got to the location we were suppose to go to meet up with the guide, he wasnメt there. So at first we were not sure if we were in the right spot. We arrived 15 minutes early. Aside from that, the food was good and the panning for gold was fun.

So much fun
This excursion was amazing. The Salmon bake was wonderful - the food was plentiful, very tasty and served buffet style outside. The Gold Rush trail & play were just so much fun & we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The blueberry cake is a MUST TRY!!!
So my wife and I sailed on the Ovation of the Seas June 2019 and had such a fun time. There was live music, great food, BUT the blueberry cake with REAL blueberries was absolutely awesome!!! Don't even get me started on the grilled salmon over an open fire!!! Something I wasn't prepared for was the live show at the end where they put on a small play about the Gold Rush! Super cute & fun experience great for families with little ones!
