Your experienced guide will give you a brief history of the Taino people, and introduce you to a variety of indigenous birds and animals such as the Jamaican barn owl and Mountain Witch doves. Your guide will lead you through the River Gardens. The stroll through this unique and beautiful garden offers a variety of tropical flora that is fed by streams. It rises on the property and meanders through the gardens. The gardens offer many secret spots to relax and enjoy nature at its very best. Stop in at the museum to learn more about Jamaica's history and culture, or take-home memories of your trip from the Gift Shop!
The crystal-clear water of the river flows into several ponds that are home to a variety of koi carp and tilapia fish. Take in the waters of several of the streams that run their natural courses throughout the property. Enter the falls at the ONIKHAN Deck and start climbing, stop at the MAJA swimming pool and take a plunge in the cool and refreshing water. Climb up to the first cascading fall and get soaked beneath the curtain of water. Keep climbing until you reach the very top and immerse yourself in the NANA swimming pool. The falls here are not as steep as the Dunn's River Falls, so are perfect for younger guests to navigate. Then take the stairs to the bottom of the falls, where you can make a stop and have a cold Red Stripe beer at the bar (not included).
