Grand Cayman Far Side Tour
Grand Cayman Far Side Tour
Leave the crowds and financial centers behind as you head to the quieter, lesser-traveled areas of Grand Cayman. Relax on the beach at Rum Point on a hammock or lounge chair, looking over the peaceful North Sound.
Your Grand Cayman excursion begins with an hour bus ride along the coast through South Sound, an upscale neighborhood dotted with a mixture of mansions and small, traditional-style cottages. Wind past Spotts Landing and through Lower Valley as you continue along the coastline. Buildings give way to lush landscapes as you and your guests arrive at Bodden Town, the island's first settlement. Established in the 1800s, this village was initially the capital of the Cayman Islands and a major hub of maritime activity until repeated hurricanes nearly filled in the harbor.
From there you will head to Rum Point with its sugar-sand beaches on the north side. At Rum Point you will have approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to explore the area your way: swim or snorkel in the crystal blue waters, relax in a hammock with Cayman's legendary Mudslide drink or enjoy a relaxing waterfront lunch.
Your Grand Cayman excursion concludes back in George Town, either by bus and/or ferry, where you may have some free time to shop for beautiful jewelry, sample various flavors of rum cake and receive a mini-history self-guided lesson at the statue-lined Hero's Square. Unwind and explore the softer side of Grand Cayman by booking your spot today.
