Beach Horseback Ride Day Tour in Falmouth
Take this small group beach horseback ride tour through the woods and waters, and you will think you have been in a time machine!
Embark on your Beach Horseback Ride and Swim adventure as you're welcomed by your driver/tour guide. Upon your arrival at the Horseback Ride facility, you'll be greeted by friendly staff members who will warmly welcome you and ensure you're ready for an enjoyable experience. Prior to commencing your journey, you'll receive a safety briefing to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience. Helmets will be provided for your safety. All participants will be riding in a single file formation. Since most participants are inexperienced, the ride will proceed at a slow pace along the trail.
The horses will have the opportunity to trot briefly at certain spots along the route. Embark on a ride through the woodland areas where the Taino Indians once hunted for food. While passing through a natural wetland shaded by almond, coconut, and various other tree species, take note of the ongoing excavations being carried out by archaeologists eager to uncover the region's rich past.
Seize this unique opportunity to swim with your horse in paradise, an experience of a lifetime. You will enjoy riding the horse for around 70 minutes during this excursion, which also includes a swim portion in the water for at least 10 minutes.
The return ride takes you along the deserted beach, where herons and other water birds fish in the shallow waters; through the mangroves, which hide the remains of an 18th- century warehouse; and by an ancient waterwheel that powered the old sugar mill on this former sugar plantation.
Please Note: Children must be at least 6 years old. Strick weight limit of 240 pounds. General weight checks are done and anyone over 240 pounds will NOT be able to do the ride and your cost is nonrefundable. Sandals are not recommended. Big bags like backpacks are not allowed on the ride. We suggest a fanny pack or small bag that can go across your shoulder in front of you (nothing bulky), in case you would like to carry your phone/camera. Pictures and video are available for purchase through an independent videographer. Please note that if you decide to purchase pictures or a video, it is at your own risk as we cannot guarantee their quality and is non-refundable. Feel free to bring your own camera to capture your own memories during the excursion.
