There are four castles in the city, including the famous Castello del l' Ovothe (built in the 5th century) on the original site of the city, and the 11th century Norman Castle Nuovo. Other sights include the Duomo Cathedral and the Gesu Nuovo Church with its beautiful frescos. Please Note: There are two bus routes with varying schedules and tour durations. Route A runs every 45 minutes from April to October and hourly from November to March, and it takes approximately one hour to complete the route without getting off. Route B runs every 45 minutes from April to October and every 75 minutes from November to March, and it takes approximately 75 minutes to complete the route without getting off.
