Recommended Dress We recommend wearing a bathing suit under comfortable clothing. For climbing the falls, you need to wear shoes that will get soaked. A pair of water shoes or sneakers is recommended. You may wish to bring a second dry pair of shoes for afterwards. A towel, sunglasses, sunscreen and money for gratuities is also suggested.

Just outside of Ocho Rios lies Dunn's River Falls, a natural waterfall about 600 feet above sea level that draws thousands of thrill seekers each year to climb its terraced-like stairs. Journey up the waterfall under the assistance of your trained guide, taking time for swim breaks along the way in some of the many small lagoons dotting the falls. You can also opt to skip the line and navigate the falls on your own.

Be sure to bring a camera to capture the lush, green scenery as well as the cool, crystal clear water rushing around your feet. Want to visit the falls but are worried about walking along the uneven, rocky terrain? Not a problem! Stairs are available alongside the waterfall so everyone can enjoy the power and beauty of the falls.

On your return journey to your ship, we will make a stop to a nearby local restaurant that serves authentic Jamaican cuisine. Here, you will be treated to the island's finest jerk chicken or jerk pork, accompanied by a delicious side dish. Be sure to try the roasted breadfruit or the festival, a delightful type of fried dumpling with a hint of sugar.
