Private Duke's Castle Schwerin

On this private tour, you'll step back in time and discover one of the most magnificent castles of the Mecklenburg nobility.

Departing the pier, you will begin the 90-minute drive through the lovely Mecklenburg countryside towards the Schwerin area. On arrival, your local castle guide will give you a tour of the old residence of the Mecklenburg dukes. You will see the magnificent throne room, the library and other beautiful rooms with unique woodworks, carvings and inlays.

You will then take a walking tour through the local village, discovering such sites as the Town Hall, the Cathedral, the regional parliament, the old market and the residential Pfaffenteich district. Your touring will end near the downtown shopping area, where you will have some free time to stroll around, browse through the souvenir and handy craft shops along the "Schlosstrasse" or just to relax with a cup of coffee and a snack before heading back to the pier.
