Deep Sea Rafting

Deep Sea Rafting
Your expedition starts with a safety drill at the port of Honningsvåg before boarding a deep sea raft to speed across the waters toward Helnes and the North Cape.
You will stop at the small fishing village of Kjelvik on Magerøya for a fascinating history and cultural lesson. You will also pass by Helnes Lighthouse, one of Norway's northernmost lighthouses. Established in 1908, this unmanned structure with its 10-meter tall white tower was destroyed in WWII, rebuilt shortly afterward and automated in 2004.
Ride up to the base of the famous North Cape cliffs for a impressive view of the cliff walls stretching 307 meters up to the sky.
Continue on to the Artico Ice Bar for a chance to experience arctic ice and snow. You will feel like you are in a real live version of the movie Frozen as you slip on a warm parka and walk up to the circular bar or sit at a table in a place where everything is fashioned out of thick slabs of ice. Sip on a non-alcoholic drink from a shot glass made out of ice which you will later throw outside into the water, in true Nordic tradition, while making a wish. This amazing establishment is rebuilt from scratch every year over a span of 40 days.
Book now and get ready to see a unique view of Magerøya island and the North Cape that you will remember for years to come.
