Cozumel Segway

Cozumel Segway
Leave the large crowds behind and board a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for a scenic ride into the heart of the island where you will have a mini lesson and practice session on your very own Segway personal transportation vehicle.
No experience needed as this smart, self-balancing vehicle is easy to maneuver and a blast to ride! Once you are comfortable on your Segway you will follow your guide into a small town built on the remains of a remote, secular Mayan settlement.
Explore the ancient remnants of a refuge for families trying to escape the Mayan rebellion, or War of Castes. While here you will learn about Casimiro Cardenas, who in 1848 survived the war by hiding under a cross inside of a church and subsequently celebrated a novenary each year. His actions became a 169-year-old tradition led by Senor Cardenas' descendants.
Next, make your way to the famous Playa Mia, Cozumel's oldest and most visited beach destination, for some serious downtime. Chill on a beach lounger with your favorite cold beverage and shop the vendors for authentic Mexican handicrafts then get into the water and climb along a floating bouncing track. Playa Mia also offers a fun pirate-themed lagoon pool for the kids, various water crafts, twin twister waterslides, parasailing, snorkeling, massages and much more (some items at additional cost).
