Recommended Dress We recommend wearing your swimsuit under a comfortable cover-up and sensible, rubber-soled deck or walking shoes. As you will be traveling through jungle terrain, insects may be present, and we highly recommend wearing insect repellent. Guests should also bring a beach towel, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen.
Restrictions Drivers must be able to drive a stick shift and bring a valid driver's license. Designated drivers will not be allowed to drink alcohol. All Jeeps will have four guests and the guide will match small groups with less than 4 people upon arrival. Children under 7 years of age are not permitted; all guests must be large enough to sit in a seat with a seatbelt on. Car seats and lap children are not permitted. Due to the bumpy nature of the jeep ride, this excursion is not recommended for pregnant women or persons with neck, back, or hip ailments. Guests must be able to walk on paved surfaces as well as sand at the beach. Participants must be able to step down into the boat. The road to the bay is extremely bumpy. For water activities, some restrictions may apply for guests with respiratory problems, heart conditions, back problems, and pregnant women. For kayaking, the minimum age is 7 years old and the maximum weight allowed is 240 pounds.

Jeep Tour in Cozumel and Isla de la Pasion Adventure

Isla de la Pasion is without a doubt, the perfect spot to spend a beautiful day in the Mexican Caribbean. This adventure will take you on an off-road jeep tour in Cozumel where you can escape to the secluded beauty of a gorgeous and private tropical island on your Cozumel port tour.

Start your adventure with a Jeep tour for approximately 40 minutes as your caravan is guided through the town of San Miguel. Your route passes by the replica of the goddess I'xchel Castle and then continues throughout the northern part of the island, where you will shake, rattle, and bump along unpaved roads leading to Bahia Ciega. There you will catch a boat to cross to the island.

Your small open-air long boat ride will take 20 minutes for the crossing to Isla de la Pasion (the boats accommodate approximately 15 guests each). Once on Isla de la Pasion, you will find palm trees, hammocks, lounge beds, water trampolines, kids club, beach bar, Palapa Restaurant, showers, dressing rooms, and restrooms. Enjoy approximately 3 and a half hours of free time to unwind on one of Cozumel's most beautiful beaches.

A hostess will welcome you and provide information about the facilities and what it is included. A delicious beach buffet and open bar of select beers, cocktails including margaritas, tequila sunrises, and rum punch, soda, and water enhance your day in paradise. A cash bar is also available with premium spirits and blender drinks. Beach activities are offered throughout the day and snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and aqua-cycles can be rented from the gift shop. In addition, massages can be purchased right on the beach.

Kayaking is also available to you, but the activity is optional. Kayaking is conducted in the gap between the mangroves and all guests are provided with information on the flora and fauna. The route takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Feel at one with nature while gliding on the calm, shallow, clear water of the hospitable bays bordered by mangroves.

At the end of your time on Isla de la Pasion, you will take the boat back to mainland, where you will ride in your Jeeps returning to the downtown starting point.
