Recommended Dress We recommend wearing comfortable, seasonal clothing over a swimsuit with walking shoes. Remember to bring sunglasses, sunblock and your beach towel from the ship.
Restrictions This tour takes place mostly in the open ocean outside the protection of Hilo Bay and requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Conditions can vary, with waves, wind, and rain possible. Guests must be able to get in and out of the boat independently and swim unassisted in the open ocean. Participants who cannot swim must bring their own life jacket or rent one from the tour operator to safely participate. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the water at all times. For safety reasons, this tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties, recent injuries, back or neck problems, or those who are pregnant, and it is not wheelchair accessible. Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. All guests will be required to show their PADI information to the tour operator. Junior Divers are subject to a $50 US additional fee per person payable to the operator on site (not included) due to depth restrictions.

If your last dive was more than two years ago, a refresher course is required and must be booked separately.
