Recommended Dress We recommend wearing your bathing suit under a comfortable cover up. Sensible walking shoes, a towel, sun glasses, sunscreen and spending money are suggested.
Restrictions Guests 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult. No refunds will be issued for guests that do not meet the program requirements for age or who violate company policies. The tour operates rain or shine! No refunds will be given for bad weather unless the excursion is cancelled. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought on the property, and the facility has the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol, or any illegal drugs. Foldable wheelchairs can be brought on the ferry, and the island is wheelchair accessible, including the beach area. Motorized wheelchairs cannot be accommodated for safety reasons.

Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day Cruise Tour

Just want to enjoy the seclusion and natural beauty of Blue Lagoon Island for the day? No problem. There's a Nassau excursion just for you!

Get away from busy Nassau and spend the day on serene Blue Lagoon Island. Your shore excursion package includes round-trip bus transportation to the ferry pier and ferry transportation to Blue Lagoon Island, a grilled lunch served until 3:00 PM, and unlimited use of water toys (unsinkable float mats, inner tubes and big boss noodles). Lunch offers your choice of 100% Angus beef burger, 100% all-beef hot dog, grilled chicken breast, or a veggie burger, along with barbecue chicken, peas and rice, a salad bar with pasta salad, pickled beets, and more. Two cookies and one cup of fruit punch, iced tea, or lemonade per person are served with lunch.

On this Nassau excursion, you also have use of the breathtaking Lagoon beach area, including hammocks, picnic tables, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and games. There are lockers on the beach side for an additional $5 US all day, plus changing areas and showers for use. Bring your cameras to capture amazing views from the observation areas of the Dolphin Encounters' amazing all-natural habitat, where you can see friendly dolphins and amazing sea lions.

Other water sports (paddle boats, aquabikes, kayaks, snorkeling gear, inflatable parks, and others) are available at an additional cost. Refreshing soft drinks, daiquiris, pina coladas, beer, wine, tropical drinks and mixed drinks are also available for purchase at the Tropical Beach Bar.

The ferries depart at the following times: 8:45 AM, 10:15 AM, 11:45 AM, 1:15 PM, and 2:45 PM. Any guest missing the complimentary bus transfer to the ferry pier is responsible for getting themselves to the ferry pier located under the Paradise Island Bridge. The ferry trip to the island is approximately 25 minutes.

Ferries depart from Blue Lagoon at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.

Please Note: Guests booking the 12:30 PM departure will arrive at the Blue Lagoon Island at approximately 1:45 PM. The last ferry is at 4:00 PM, allowing for about 2-hours on the island. Lunch is served until 3:00 PM local time.

Loved it !
This little island was so much fun & the food was delicious ! We had snorkeling gear & did some snorkeling. Had a sting ray swim around us for a bit. It was beautiful and if I ever make it to Nassau again I will be going here. It was wonderful !

Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day
We had a great time at the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day, I would recommend it to families with children. Food was awesome. Employees there were very nice. I am looking forward to going again to this Island. It was very relaxing. The water was beautiful.

Great relaxing excursion
We really enjoyed the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day. Beautiful blue water, clean restrooms, ample and tasty lunch buffet, free water toys. Overall, a relaxing day at a beautiful beach. The water on the other side of the island was a bit rough and made for challenging snorkeling, with not many fish to see.

Absolutely Beauriful!!!
Fun day! Travel from Dallas to Nassau. Ran into cousin and family there. We were laughing that we gave to travel across the world to see each other!

blue lagoon beach day
I go here with my grandkids every cruise . This will be our 4th or fifth time here . we love it You relax either in the water or on the beach, or on shore in a shady hammock. It is a very pretty place and the kids love to watch the dolphins entertain. If you have kids with you this is the place to go , while at Nassau!

Close dolphin encounter
It was our families best vacation memory, and blue lagoon was perfect and it was magical, we didnt want to leave.

Beautiful beach, relaxing day
At the braiding center we were a little concerned because we didn't see anyone with a sign. When Mr. Johnson arrived, one of the braiders pointed him out. The bus ride was fine; we were the only ones on it. Driver was kind & thorough with his instructions for us. The ferry ride was nice. The beach was lovely. Several areas of chairs (the ones that offered some shade under trees) were marked with "reserved" signs. We sat in a couple of those anyway, as there were no other empty seats with shade. An hour before our time was up, we had to leave those seats because the group that had the reservation arrived. We didn't mind moving, but it would have been nice to have "reserved" listed with a time, so that we would have felt like we could have sat in any of the reserved sections we wanted. Lunch was OK. The servers were kind & it was nice to have a shady place to eat. Ferry back was on time, so no worries about making it back to the ship. Overall it was enjoyable.
