South Shore Horseback Riding Tour

Enjoy a truly unique coastal horseback riding adventure in a setting that can only be experienced in beautiful Bermuda. You will ride along the South Shore, world famous for its pink beaches, sand dunes, and numerous small and secluded coves, usually in groups no larger than 6 riders.

Once you arrive at the stables, you will be matched up with a horse that best suits your size and riding experience. The horses in Bermuda have acclimated to the island and may be smaller than ones you are used to. They can accommodate up to 220 pounds and only one rider.

You will then join your group and follow your guide out for a one hour ride through the beautiful Bermuda scenery. You will ride along trails that parallel the South Shore. The trail follows the hilly terrain with scenic views of the world famous pink sand beaches, sand dunes, and numerous small and secluded coves. The trail comes within 30 feet of the pink sand, which is tinted by tiny pieces of shell deposited by the sea over thousands of years. The tour does not go onto the beach or into the water. There is no running / cantering involved. The tour is at a walk pace.

Note: The riding center is a 15 minute taxi ride from Hamilton, a 30 minute ride from Kings Wharf, and a 45 minute ride from St. George. Restrooms and vending machines are available.
