Restrictions This excursion is not recommended for children under 3 years old because of the nature of the experience and the length of time spent on the train. This tour cannot accommodate wheelchairs, motorized scooters, or strollers, and guests must be able to pull themselves up onto and down from both the train and the motorcoach. Please be aware that the tour operates in the wilderness, several hours from medical facilities. The tour crosses the Canadian border and then returns to the United States. All guests must bring the required original travel documents, as photocopies are not accepted. Guests should also bring any required visas or Permanent Resident Cards along with their passport, although these are not needed for U.S. or Canadian passport holders. U.S. and Canadian children who are 15 and under may travel with an original birth certificate instead of a passport, but birth certificates combined with a driver’s license are not allowed for adults. Any guest who does not have the required documents at the time of departure will not be permitted to participate and will not be eligible for a refund.

All minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. If a minor is traveling with someone other than a legal guardian, they must have a notarized letter of consent signed by all legal guardians. A single adult traveling with a child under 18 must provide either an original death certificate for the non-accompanying parent or a notarized letter from the non-accompanying parent granting permission to take the child across the border, authorizing the accompanying adult to make all medical decisions for the child, and providing a daytime phone number where the non-accompanying parent can be reached if needed.
