Best of Alanya
Your expedition begins with a ride out to a rocky peninsula to visit Kale Fortress.
Known as Alanya Castle, this medieval fortress was built in the 13th century atop ruins from the Byzantine and Roman eras. Journey down from the fortress walls to the bottom of the hill and enter Damlatas Cave.
Take some time to walk between stalactites and stalagmites and feel the humidity as you explore this spacious cave. Damlatas is highly sought out by asthmatics due to the high concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, and is believed to help cure respiratory illnesses.
At nearby Cleopatra Beach you can dig your toes in its famous white sand.
Continue to Dim River, a recreational area popular with the city's residents. Relax by the river as you enjoy a delicious lunch including grilled trout or chicken at the sofa-laced Sultans Terrace. Following your meal, you can head to the local bazaar to do a little shopping and rub elbows with the locals before your return to port.
Don't miss out on this special tour, book now and get ready to discover the many different faces of Alanya.
Please Note: Your 6-hour tour includes lunch. Guests must be able to walk unassisted in the cave. The cave portion is not recommended for those guests who are mobility-impaired, claustrophobic or have heart conditions. Guests with serious heart or breathing problems might have difficulty in the cave due to the high humidity. Wheelchair access not available.
