Private Milan and Pavia Driver/Guide

Plan your own schedule for a private tour of Milan and Pavia. This tour provides you with an air-conditioned vehicle and a driver who will bring you and other guests to the sites in Milan that you want to see. Spend the day exploring the best of northern Italy. This tour gives you the flexibility to design your own custom itinerary: you choose where to go, you set the pace, and you sit back and let your driver bring you to see the best of Italy.

You'll leave from Genoa, heading on a 90-minute drive to Milan, the fashion capital of Italy. Spend the morning in Brera, the historical center of the city, a bohemian, artsy neighborhood. Wander the Corso Magenta, a lively street that will bring you to many of Milan's most lovely attractions, not the least of which is the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church and Convent, where you'll find Leonardo Da Vinci's mural, The Last Supper.

Stop for a pastry at Pasticceria Marchesi, an iconic cafe established almost 200 years ago, but kept fashionable by Milanese fashion house Prada, which now owns a stake in the company. While in Milan, you'll find plenty of fashion, particularly during the spring and autumn fashion weeks, and always in houses and labels like Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Armani, and more, still based out of this stylish city.

In the afternoon you'll embrace the city's fashionable reputation and head to the Quadrilatero della Moda, the fashion square, and shop on Via Monte Napoleone, one of the most expensive shopping streets in the world. Or visit Piazza del Duomo, where Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the oldest shopping malls in the world, is located. You'll also find the stunningly ornate, gothic Milan Cathedral there.

After the tour of Milan ends, you will start on your return to Genoa. On the way back, you can stop and visit the Certosa di Pavia, another magnificent example of Gothic and Renaissance architecture that showcases the grandeur of Italy's history. It will surely be one of the most beautiful churches you ever have the pleasure of visiting.

Please Note: This tour is self-paced with a custom itinerary of your choosing. The tour does not include entrance fees, parking fees, tolls, or gratuities.

Though your English-speaking driver can provide commentary while driving you around, they cannot act as a guide outside of the car. The driver will be happy to make suggestions about the best places to eat throughout the day.
